About Maddie McNeal
Maddie McNeal believes healing works best as a partnership. She doesn't hand women a plan. She builds one with them.
Maddie joined Women's Recovery in 2022 as a clinical case manager and found her calling in helping women step out of substance use and into their own lives. In 2023 she became a Primary Therapist. Before WR, she advocated for survivors of sexual and domestic violence, and that experience lives in how she practices: patient, protective and deeply trauma-informed.
Maddie sees mental and physical health as one system, and she helps women notice how the two talk to each other. She holds a Human-Animal-Environment Interactions certificate from the University of Denver, a natural fit for a program where a St. Bernard named Tucker is part of the healing team.
She earned her BA in sociology from the University of North Carolina Asheville and her MSW from the University of Denver.
