Katie joined the Denver Women’s Recovery team as a Primary Therapist in April 2024. With a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Tulsa and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver, Katie brings a deep commitment to supporting women on their healing journeys. Her therapeutic approach is integrated and client-centered, grounded in the belief that every client’s path is unique and deserves to be honored with respect and care. Katie has had previous experience working with combat veterans, traumatic brain injury, and addiction both in clinical and non-clinical settings.

Katie is a fierce advocate for her clients, meeting them where they are with compassion and unwavering support. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities paired with a neuroscience understanding to understand the whole person, creating a space where each client feels seen, heard, and valued. Katie’s mission is to empower her clients as they move through recovery and personal growth, offering guidance, empathy, and strength at every step of the way. She believes deeply in the power of resilience and connection, and she is dedicated to fostering an environment of healing, strength, and transformation for the women she serves.
