About Amanda Miller
If Women's Recovery has a heart, it's Amanda Miller.
Amanda has shaped the clinical work here since 2019. She believes healing happens in relationship, and she lives that belief in every room she walks into, with clients, with families and with the clinicians she trains. She's the connector: the person who knows everyone's story, sees how the pieces fit, and makes sure no woman falls through a crack.
Her style has a name around here: validate, educate, challenge. Amanda meets women exactly where they are. She helps them understand what their nervous system and their patterns have been doing to protect them. Then, with real warmth, she asks them to reach a little further. She holds her team to the same standard, which is why our philosophy isn't just on the wall. It's in every session.
Amanda earned her bachelor's in social work from Colorado State University and her MSW from the University of Denver, concentrating in mental health, trauma and substance use. She has worked in inpatient and adolescent settings, and her specialized training in perinatal mental health supports women through pregnancy, loss and new motherhood.
