About Holly Macek
Some people build programs around problems. Holly Macek built one around possibility.
Before founding Women's Recovery in 2017, Holly worked inside some of the most respected treatment programs in the country, including as Program Director of a nationally renowned dual-diagnosis extended-care program. She saw what excellent care could do. She also saw where it fell short for women: too much focus on behavior and consequences, and too little room for the whole woman. So she built something different.
Holly's gift is hope. She believes in women before they believe in themselves, and she leads with a warmth and generosity that sets the tone for everyone who works here. It's why Women's Recovery feels the way it does the moment you walk in: kind, optimistic and certain that change is possible.
Holly knows this path from the inside, and that knowing shapes everything she has built. She is a lifelong advocate for clinically savvy, gender-specific care that treats mental health, trauma and substance use together, and she is deeply committed to Colorado's recovery community and to growing the next generation of women in this field.
