About LaTisha Bader
Dr. LaTisha Bader has spent more than 20 years where psychology, addiction and human performance meet, and she brings all of it to Women's Recovery.
She is a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Addiction Counselor and Certified Mental Performance Consultant. She earned her Ph.D. in counseling psychology, with a specialization in sport psychology, from the University of North Texas, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in chemical dependency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Her clinical work spans residential, outpatient, private practice and Native American health care.
Dr. Bader also works with collegiate, professional and Olympic athletes, and consults for Major League Baseball. That work teaches what our clients live every day: under pressure, the nervous system decides before the mind does. The high-functioning woman who looks fine and isn't is, in many ways, an athlete performing through pain. Dr. Bader helps our team understand that pressure and build the regulation that real performance, and real recovery, depend on.
As Chief Clinical Officer, she advances the clinical quality of the program. She has contributed to Cannabis in Medicine and other clinical texts, and she is writing her own contribution to the recovery literature.
