About Amy York
Amy York came to therapy as a second career, and she brings the wisdom of a full life into the room.
Amy is passionate about empowering women, supporting deep healing and honoring the fact that no two journeys look the same. Her clinical experience spans addiction counseling and eating disorder care, and she understands how often both are tangled up with trauma, control and the pressure to hold everything together.
Having started over in a new profession herself, Amy knows what it takes to begin again, and she brings that same courage and respect to the women she serves. Her own practices of movement, meditation and time outdoors shape how she helps women reconnect with their bodies and find steadiness.
Amy earned her BA in family and consumer sciences education and her MA in clinical mental health counseling.
