About Donna Cheramy
Every program has a philosophy. Donna Cheramy is the reason Women's Recovery's philosophy actually runs.
Donna came to Women's Recovery after years across addiction, mental health and trauma treatment, working in operations, admissions, marketing and business development. That range taught her something many leaders miss: great client care doesn't start in the therapy room. It starts with a culture where clinicians are supported, trained and trusted, and where that support flows through every department.
As Executive Director, Donna is the architect. She designs the systems, supervision structures and strategy that turn a trauma-informed philosophy into a program women can count on every day. A systems thinker by nature, she sees how every piece connects, from the first phone call to the Continuation Ceremony, and she builds so that no woman falls through the gaps.
Donna helped lead the years of listening that became RICC, and she has held one line through every season of the organization: client care is never the place to cut corners. Gender-specific, ethically grounded care for the whole woman isn't a slogan to her. It's the whole job.
