At Women’s Recovery, we are guided by an awareness that most women who begin the DWR or SWR programs are coming from a place of loneliness, isolation, and a small worldview – one that keeps them blocked from connecting with others and moving forward in life. One of our main goals is to empower the individual to tap into the strengths and abilities she already possesses. Please know that the WR Treatment Team looks forward to walking with you along your path of self-discovery and recovery – one day at a time.

Mimi’s diverse background and passion for helping others has always led her to a beautiful life of service. A healer and animal lover since birth, she has an Associate’s of Science in Veterinary Technology, her 500-hour Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Certification, Phlebotomy Certification, she is the Workshop and Event Coordinator for SPCAi’s PAWSitive Recovery Program, attended the Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition and has taken courses in Shamanistic healing. It is through her work with animals, yoga, art, and nature that Mimi has found the true meaning of unconditional love and forgiveness not only for herself as a person in recovery, but also as a loved one of an addict, an adult child of an addict who took their own life, and as a peer, a friend, and as someone who understands, has compassion for, and has hope for those who don’t.
